Summary :
An outlaw gang rides into town. JD gets hit in the nose; Vin gets it
in the shoulder. Two female bounty hunters-Maddie and Kate are there.
Maddie doesn't like Josiah because she thinks he's bad luck.
Memorable Scenes :
Scene One
Maddie drags JD off for a dalliance in the hay. Later Casey finds them
and is very hurt by what she thinks she has seen.
Scene Two
JD, Buck and Chris trail Maddie and Kate to lead them to Dell (who is wanted for
murder). Maddie pulls a gun on JD.
Scene Three
Buck, Chris and Josiah leave JD with the girls to find the other outlaws. Dell arrives and denies
knowing where the money is. He goads Maddie about JD and she shoots
JD. Maddie, Dell and Kate leave.
Scene Four
Buck finds JD and tells Chris to find them and kill them if he has too. Buck gets JD back into town.
Scene Five
Maddie and Kate are found and brought back into town to stand trial. Casey is very worried about JD.
Scene Six
A man who rode with the outlaws tells Ezra, who he thinks is a lawyer, that Maddie is a cold-hearted killer. There is a trial. Kate is pardoned but Maddie is sentenced to hang.
Scene Seven
JD wakes up to find Buck and Casey there beside him. JD said he thought he would die without having to say he was sorry to Casey.
Scene Eight
Dell and his gang come into town. Dell goes to jail and shoots Maddie. Buck kills Dell. Josiah recites Psalm 23.
Scene Nine
Kate decides to leave Four Corners. She talks to Buck before she leaves. Kate tells
him that he isn't like the other men she has known.
